My Olympic country report

Luxembourg is one of the smallest countries in Europe. It is a landlocked country and its surrounding areas are France Germany Belgium Its spoken languages are French, German and Luxembourgish.

One of Luxembourg environmental issues are a lot of traffic issues in their city.

There other environmental issue is acid rain in their country caused by humans making pollution like oil power plant station for e.g. making pollution in the air which one of their other environmental issue is a lot of pollution in their country.

The population of Luxembourg is 576,243 (2016).

Its attractions are Notre-dame cathedral, Luxembourg, the bock and also many more great attractions in Luxembourg.

In the schools of Luxembourg

The Luxembourg constitution allows the state to organise education. This means most schools are public and tuitions do not have to be paid. There are, some schools that are private schools that follow a similar programme.

The president of Luxembourg is Jean-claude juncker he was born December the 9th 1954 and is the age of 61 years old.

He started his career at the university of Strasbourg (in France). His parents were Joseph Juncker, and Marguerite Juncker.

The Flag of Luxembourg is surrounded by A horizontal triband of red, white and light blue like the Netherlands flag and the french flag.

The production

On the 4th of July 2016 we performed our production Cinderella and Rockerfella and for me it was a big success.

Usually I rehearsed couple of times to practice but since I've gotten even better at my role I"m gonna make it even better tonight.

As I slowly creep back stage my heart pounds a million miles an hour like a plane zooming at full speed and not seeing it with a single trace.

I suddenly realize that I'm very nervous that i'm trembling like an earthquake. I get given my microphone and start warming up to get on stage excited and ready to go.

As soon as I walk up on stage my heart stops beating. I see a whole bunch of people in the crowd but now its my time to shine.  I think to myself "come on Hyacinthe this is what you have been practicing for this whole time."

I finally say my first two lines and then as soon i said my lines i got straight into it.

Overall i had a great time at the production and the production could've been done without the teachers.

My favourite thing to learn in grill 2.0 is…..

In our classroom this year, we have a fancy learning space that no one in our school has for example a list of things like:

Bean bags
Double/triple mini classrooms and big classrooms
54 Apple devices
Hammocks
Fooseball
10 Spinning chairs
and Leaners

Sometimes we don't even know how lucky we are to have this kind of learning space but now I'm going to explain all of you digital people of what my favourite thing to learn in Gri11 2.0 is.

Some of you digital people are probably thinking how do you learn like this in a fancy class like that, but it's our responsibility to get trusted of what we do in our spaces and when we learn, which also includes digital citizenship.

For our learning we have something called fast track, It's a google sheet where you put all your learning links on the google sheet with your names.

You get set tasks from your teacher on a digital device then you fill it out and then after you copy and paste your link onto fast track.

In the old days when you had assignments you filled it out on a piece of paper but since the technology has evolved, our teachers thought we can step forward in our learning and get to learn on devices, ladies and gentleman.

To be honest I think fast track is my favourite thing to learn in Gri11 2.0 because it's such an easy way to learn in Gri11 2.0 and that's what I call a short cut to learning, Ladies and Gentleman.

It's good to learn like that because the teachers can go and check what you have done because the google sheet is shared with the teachers which means they can see what you have done in your fast track instead of calling a student every two minutes to check their tasks.

We've got writing tasks, Maths tasks and even other stuff including integration.

My trip to france

On the day that I left to France on the 9th of December I knew some fun was going to be organised.

We head on the plane and wait patiently for the plane to take off and vanish away in the sky.

It took a long 1 hour and finally land at auckland airport ready to wait for the next flight which is Auckland to Hong Kong.

                                        7 hours later

We head onto the plane for hong kong and enter in the gates where the planes park themselves.

The plane does a fast smooth take off and disappears in the sky without a single trace. On the plane to hong kong their was some movies to entertain myself and have a great time.

I watched on the plane some movies like, despicable me 2,minions,and paper towns which were some great movies but I can't go through them I have to continue on.

                                                  14 hours later

We hope on our last plane from hong kong to paris which paris is our destination. We had arrived at hong kong 8 hours ago because we had a delay. 

                                                   13 hours later

I couldn't wait another millisecond to land this big plane and go put my first footsteps on french soil.

I finally got to touch the floor with excitement. We take the bullet train to a place called Angoûleme and whats exciting is my grandparents are their to pick me up and so they did.

Sports Rotation

In our school csns on tuesdays we always have something call sports rotation with a range sports like soccer,hockey,golf,circuits,basketball,badminton,tennis and touch

Well today Im going to tell you my favourite sport which is going to be "Drumroll please everyone" Oh yes yes it is circuits. Well now that we have had the drumroll which is curcuits now I'm going to explain what you do.

Well circuits is an easy type of sports which involves fitness and speed and agility which ranges over different ranges rotations in circuits like hurdles, ladders,hoola hoops,planks,push ups sit ups,baseball hitting and that's why I like circuits because there is a range of sports that you can do, and one thing you didn't know is that each rotation is 3 to 4 minutes of doing, which kind of means that you have to do them fast.

On a sunny day usually we all get tired and sweat at the same time which means we have put in a lot of effort which is what the teacher says.

Our teacher mr Robertson is incharge of sport rotations but there is also kids that coach sports rotation which is called a sports leader which kids from different classrooms around the school, coach sports rotation.

My favourite rotation is in circuits hurdles because it speeds your legs up and gives good muscles and then gets more challenging when you get to higher hurdles and that you can try to not hit the hurdle over.

it's a lot of hard work but it's also a lot fun when you first try it.

So this is my favourite rotation in sports rotation hope you guys have a try out.

TTS CSI Writing

On the 10/5/16 we got surprised from TTS which stands for traditional teaching style, and we went through a lot of torture and terror.We had all sorts of subjects in TTS like Maths, dictation, handwriting and dictionary skills. The teachers were strict but finally it was all over and all hopeful for surviving old school terror.

After we did a CSI which stands for colour symbol and image and said to write in what you felt like in those three boxes. For my colour I thought black and white because in old school you saw people on tv working in black and white. For symbol I put a pencil cause in old school you always wrote with a pencil feathers. Lucky last but not least was Image which I thought of people working hard to get a reward from their harsh teachers so like that they wouldn't be in trouble. Well I have been through some serious stuff but finally it's over for once.
