Why are responses are so diverse

This term so far we have been learning about Cultural Diversity we've been given range of tasks like shared reading on the Mongolian national festival, we've also been given photo's of people around the world and make connections and make statements of how it's different to our culture. Well today we've had been given this writing task to finish off for the week and we had to write on how our responses are so diverse. First there is a table of responses from people around the globe about there opinions and statements, Here it is.

What connections can you make to the reading?

Read the responses below and write a paragraph explaining why you think the responses are so diverse.

In Singapore we celebrated Chinese New Year
I go and do horse riding
That we did archery at camp last year #2015
I am always wrestling my brother and making my own moves up.
It is kinda like Chinese New Year. The family gets together and the eldest person sits at the top of the table. We eat lots of yummy food and have lots of drinks. My mum and Dad work very hard. The Chinese culture also follows the Luna calendar like the Mongolian culture does.
The woman in this story is like my mum and my family every single day
in the first olympics women couldn't enter.
Cultural festival because there is heaps of activities.
It is like Chinese New Year because of all the activities and cooking and greeting.
none really
That Mongolia have national day like in France.
Once my mums friend was talking to a whole bunch of us at girls at girls rally. She told us some stories about some of her trips to different places. One of the stories she told was about a country where the women did all the work and the men don't do anything.
Some of it reminded me of celebrating Chinese New Year
We did archery at camp in 2015
My brother and i wrestle on the tramp

Sumo wrestlers. I have watched hourse races and I have shot a arrow
sad
That the naadam festival is very important to there culture
That New Zealand do the sports what the the Naadam festival does
that i have done horse riding before
that we Celebrate new years day.
On New Years Eve we play games and have visitors
My Mum cleans the house and does chores and we have too help her.
My mum cooks and cleans all day
That a while ago women in New Zealand never competed in the olimpics.
I don't have a connection
sometimes i have to do chores
there is a game on the computer and it’s a resaling game and each level you complete you get called something new
They have a lot of events like our athletics day
The Naadam festival is linked to the greek olympics cause woman aren't allowed to participate.

Why are our responses so diverse?

Our responses are so diverse because we have different cultures and religions that’s why we are so diverse. Some of us have the same responses like if they’re in the same country or have the same culture. We are all different and none of us are the same or act the same each and one of us are different. Some of our cultures are diverse, some of them are the same like mongolia have the same national day as france and they’re both in July.

Hieroglyphic Narrative

Once there was a boy called Twisted Flax Wick. He’s always been an ordinary boy like any other. He likes to do bush walks, because he’s got a bush walk, Right against his house. He also likes playing uno with his friends at Port Douglas. Twisted Flax Wick’s dad who is called (th) is a businessman that works in Cairns, north of Queensland in Australia.

“Well” Says Twisted Flax Wick heavily pumped. Wouldn’t it be a great day to go for a bush walk in the Mossman Gorge. “Dad” Says Twisted Flax Wick. Could I please go to the Mossman Gorge right against our house!? “Sure” replies th. “ But I have to be back by noon okay son!” Repeats his dad .

Twisted Flax Wick vanishes inside the forest without a single trace. After he starts walking in the heavenly beautiful Mossman Gorge. He hears an odd sound and surprises him. He suddenly thought “what’s that” says Twisted Flax Wick. He starts to have a shiver running down his spine when he walks. He starts to twitch and his hands start to sweat. After a minute he realised that it was a turkey in front of him calling to another turkey from the other side of the forest.  “ For god sake” says Twisted Flax Wick “ that was nothing to be scared of, for god sake” he repeats. Later throughout the day Twisted Flax Wick is far from home and it seems to get dark for some reason, he asks himself, “ how could it be so dark at this time!?” Says Twisted Flax Wick. “ wait, where's my watch I forgot damn it this can’t be happening, NOOOOOOOO.” Huh, Sighs Twisted Flax Wick. My dad is going to kill me, why didn’t I bring my watch before, never mind, sighs Twisted Flax Wick once again. He stops walking, and turns back and follows the track back home. “ AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH” says  Twisted Flax Wick. It took Twisted Flax Wick hours to realise that he had broken his arm by tripping up from a big stone and colliding and face planting onto the ground. He starts walking back home with his arm rested on his stomach.

2 hours later

“Oh my god I’ve been walking for ages now it’s been 3 hours.” He realised he was walking the wrong track since two hours. “Oh no this can’t be happening I can’t be lost in this rainforest.” says Twisted Flax Wick.

Six Months Later

Twisted Flax Wick has been in the forest for six months now and was lucky enough to have water and food, but now he’s ran out of food in his bag and he needs to find a way for survival.

He’s been walking around bushes slashing through the forest. It’s been hours now and lucky for him he found some Chicken breast in a basket with two reed leaf covered on the edges of the basket. He was also was lucky because right against the basket there was 5 bottles of water filled with 4.5 litres. Anyways Twisted Flax Wick had 7 water bottles when he had departed from home ages ago. Twisted Flax Wick Starting gobbling up the chicken breast in a matter of second, like a fussy eater that had a bon appetite. Seconds later Twisted Flax Wick wasn’t so lucky because there was a vulture that catched his basket and flew off vanishing in the sky without a single trace.

“Damn it” says Twisted Flax Wick. “I had a chance to eat some food cause I was suffering from starvation.”  “Huh” sighs Twisted Flax Wick. “ I just have wished rescuers could have found me, wait, there could be a manhunt at the moment, probably it’s me, I gotta sign S.O.S right now to anyone.  Twisted Flax Wick suddenly sees a helicopter flying across the trees and meanders off to another section.

Twisted Flax Wick sprints for his life, chasing the helicopter with his broken arm but suddenly he trips and collapses to the ground and face plants. He realised that he was in a mini lake with waves that meanders off to a waterfall. The other problem was that Twisted Flax Wick’s leg was broken which was a combo of injuries for him. “No” says Twisted Flax Wick “ not a combo of injuries it’s unfair, come on” he says. After a couple of minutes a rescue helicopter spots Twisted Flax Wick before he got rescued by the rescue helicopter.

He is safe back home with his dad th now. His father's tears collapses to the ground making a flood after the months of his poor sons adventures without help. Twisted Flax Wicks point of view was that it was a massacre after months lost in a rainforest in the middle of nowhere. His dad gave Twisted Flax Wick a bouquet of flowers including a reed leaf, for a memory.
